Natalia Campos is a self-taught freelance photographer and video journalist from Brazil, based in Dublin, Ireland, where she has lived for almost ten years.
Her work focuses on social, political and environmental issues. Over the past six years, she has covered protests, rallies, celebrations and news events across Ireland and internationally, including reporting on the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine following Russia’s invasion, as well as documenting the aftermath of wildfires in Portugal.
Alongside news coverage, Campos documents social and cultural life within diverse communities in Ireland, with a particular focus on the Brazilian diaspora.
She is a Getty Images contributor and a video journalist contributing to Vïory News. Her work has been published internationally and exhibited in Dublin, London, Cologne and Tbilisi.
Her photographic practice follows a humanistic and ethnographic approach, focusing on traditions, customs and everyday life, while addressing broader social, political and environmental realities.
